CARE

• Using a vacuum cleaner with a beater bag or rotating brush, vacuum at least once a week.  Change the disposable bag often.

CLEANING

• Clean spills and spots immediately.  Most will clean up with club soda.  Using a clean cloth, pour club soda on the cloth and blot the spill or spot gently for a short time.  Allow the area to dry completely before walking on it.

• For stubborn spots or stains, please stop by the store and ask your salesperson to provide you with a care and cleaning guide specifically for your type of carpet.  There are special cleaning methods for many types of stains.

• For general maintenance and upkeep of carpet, use the "Host" system of cleaning.  Host is a powder-like product used with a buffer machine that brushes the cleaning powder into the fibers of the carpet.  It can be left in the carpet for one hour, up to 24 hours, then vacuumed with your own household vacuum cleaner.

• For heavily soiled carpet, a steam-cleaning system may be used.
